Last day of the year. We live in HK for almost a year now and there is no better way to end the year than travelling.
This time we travelled to two countries in one go - Viet Nam (Ho Chi Minh a.k.a. Saigon) and Cambodia.
We still can't believe we have finally seen the magical Angkor Wat!!

Another week, another trip ;) This time we went to Las Vegas and around; Zion Park, Hoover Dam, and of course, the unbelieveable Grand Canyon!!! Three states, two days, and only one ticket ;) Not too bad ;)
2010-07-21
Just came back from Greece - this time we have visited Ionian islands - Ithaca and Kefallinia. This was one of the best holidays ever.
Crystal clear water (but very salty!), idyllic atmosphere and great food in a quiet, touristically not so-corrupted environment (this was the biggest surprise!).
2010-05-24
Few weeks ago we visited Vienna and Budapest.
2009-12-21
Just got back from a quick break in Cymru (Wales). We have visited Cardiff - it was freezing cold, so we were just running
from place to place, but we managed to get from it as much as we could. Both the Cardiff Castle and Cardiff Bay are places
worthy a visit and the only bad choice, was... a season :)

Finally got a moment to put all the photos from the trips we took in last months:
Betws-y-Coed and Snowdon (Wales), Stonehange, Oxford, Cambridge, Chicago, Brighton, Las Vegas, Geneva, Gdansk and Athens.
2009-06-20
So many things happened since the last time we posted anything here...
We live in London at the moment. We have visited a couple of places in England (Stonehange, Brighton, Oxford, Cambridge)
and Wales. Adam also had a chance (well, work requires some sacrifice from all of us :) to visit Chicago (USA), Geneva (Switzerland) and Frankfurt (Germany).
2008-09-24
We are moving to London!
2008-08-18
Just came back from a weekend in Belfast. We used the chance to see a few things we haven't seen before, i.e. Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede and Londonderry.
2008-07-31
Back from Sofia! Back from Metallica!
2008-05-30
We just came back from another trip to Asia. We went to Singapore, Hong Kong and Macao.

After a few months of working crazily we finally managed to escape a bit and went for a short weekend break to Madrid, Spain :-)
2007-10-11
We are going to Hong Kong on Friday, 12th.
2007-09-30
We just came back from London where we went to for just a weekend.
Adam was sitting some very important exam (and he already knows he passed it :)
2007-07-24
It's official - Barcelona is the coolest (sic!) hottest place in Europe.
2007-06-25
Another visit to Poland. This time to get the new passport.
2007-05-09
We just came back from Poland. Adam got his new ID and applied for a new passport. Let's call it a business trip :)
2007-04-16
Another couple of months passed and it's new year again... New year means new anniversaries and yes, you guessed it right
- it's already our sixth one! Did I mention that time passes fast? ;)
We celebrated it in Lisbon, where we went for a short trip last week. We had a wonderful weather and a really good time there...
Why holidays don't last? ;)
2006-11-23
It's been just a week since we came back from Hong Kong and our memories are still very vivid...
What can we say... Kakee's beloved place, Adam's favourite one...
A few words about Hong Kong. Hong Kong _is_ the coolest place
in the world. Safe, clean, fast, advanced, cosmopolitan, basically...
the list can go on and on: very good service, very good transportation,
the best and the cleanest metro (subway) and train
in the world (MTR & KCR), etc., etc.
Of course, there are pros and cons. It's crowded, it's noisy, it's workoholic-atmosphere, but...
Hong Kong is an extraordinary place. And... it's unbeatable...
2006-09-23
At the beginning of this month, we have visited Gdansk (Adam's home town). We haven't been to Gdansk for
2 years and since that time, the city has really changed a lot. It's really good to see that the whole
Tricity (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia) develops quickly. We met our family, had a walk in Gdansk
and Sopot's Molo (a wooden pier, the longest in Europe, over 500 metres), and... did a hell lot of shopping.
The whole family was laughing at us, while we were packing all these little thingies we bought -
mainly Polish food that we can't find in Dublin... :)
2006-08-16
Another weekend - another trip. I wish it will be like this one day... :) Well, we try our best. This time
we chose Brussels. We didn't have any specific plans for this trip. Just wanted to escape from Dublin
for a moment and... it was really worthy! Brussels is a very charming and welcoming international city,
with a wonderful chocolate, hundreds brands of beers, and delicious food...
2006-07-02
Last weekend we went to meet our friends in London. Unexpectedly, while being on Picadilly Circus,
we found ourselves in the middle of EuroPride 2006
- an international lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender gay pride event. Weather was fantastic,
music was loud, and we enjoyed being there, staring at this happy, colourful, and energetic crowd.
2006-06-30
At the end of May, we have visited Italy. A month passed, so it'really a time to put the photos online ;).
2006-04-1
We came back from Paris over a week ago, but finally I got some time to put the photos online.
2006-03-23
WHOAW... time passes SO fast ;). It's been over 4 months since last update...
We moved to a new flat last month. Well, what can we say... the flat is just GREAT!
A perfect location, a perfect size (>50m2), a perfect broadband (2Mb/s), ...
yeah... we are consumers... city rats... blah, blah, blah... but convenience has a value
and we just treasure it... It's just 10 minutes to a city centre, compared to 40 last time...
Anyway... back to the topic...
We are reaching our 5th anniversary next month... 5 YEARS!!! U-n-b-e-l-i-e-v-e-a-b-l-e how fast it goes!!!
But the good news is that it goes in a right direction... To Paris ;)
Yeah, next week nous allons a Paris! C'est la premiere fois et nous alons err... taking photos and stuff ;)
2005-10-16
Whoaw... time passes so fast. It's been over 8 months since we moved to Dublin.
During this time we visited Belfast, Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands and came back to London.
We are very busy trying to learn new things and add value to ourselves.
Ka Kee is studying graphics design and I am trying to conquer Phutongua...
We hope to visit Asia next year...
2005-03-22
We are currently living in Dublin, Ireland. We moved here at the end of January 2005
and after renting the flat we finally settled down... Being here means we have a chance
to explore the country a bit... The first on the list is Galway...
2004-12-27
We are moving out of Poland. More information soon.
2004-11-30
At the end of November we have visited London and Oxford (UK). These cities are amazing.
We have spent a week there, but probably we haven't seen even half of the places worthy to visit ;).
We managed to see Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge and Tower of London,
Hyde Park, we spent the whole day wandering around in The British Museum, had a ride
on the London Eye and visited Sherlock on the famous Baker Street.
The photos are already in the gallery.
2004-10-02
As you see, KaKee prepared some new drawings...
2004-09-19
It's already four years! On 28th September 2000, we have met in real for the first time.
Unbelieveable, the time passes so fast...
Back to reality... Last month we visited Dublin again.
We would like to come back there soon again - maybe with a visit, maybe to catch
some good job there... We will see... If you happened to visit this site before,
you probably noticed that the layout has totally changed... now it's simpler and easier
to update...
2004-07-30
It's been almost a year since the last update of this page and it's time to add some
information about what was going on. In March, I published my new book and a month
later Ka Kee published her first collection of short stories. In June she finally
came back to Poland (to be more precise: to me :). Since the beginning of June, we
live in a new flat in the center of Warsaw. We were lucky to spot quite a spacious
flat with a reasonable price. Even the time was hard for us, we still managed to
travel a bit. In December 2004 I visited Ka Kee in Hong Kong (fourth time there!!!),
then in March I visited California, US, then Ka Kee visited Amsterdam (Netherlands)
and at the end of June, we both visited Dublin (Ireland). In August, we are going there again.
2003-09-06
Again, a lot of changes in our lives. I am on the way to quit the flat and move to
another one (still in Warsaw). Ka Kee went back to Hong Kong for a while to visit
her relatives and friends and to breathe with a fresh air after more than a year
spent in Poland. We plan that Ka Kee will come back here after the Winter; thus
yet another separation :(. For those who don't know, Poland is a country that
'offers' a very grey, cold and yes, quite unfriendly environment to foreigners,
especially those who got used to efficiency and quality of service. But it's worthy
to visit, for a lot of reasons. One of the funniest was mentioned once by my coworker
- he said that you can find the 'real' apples in Poland. And this 'real' means that
each apple differs in shape and colour from others. And this is how it should be
(by nature), and it scares foreigners who got used to 'normalized' apples they buy
in the supermarkets. Well, Poland has some pros and cons. Don't be superficial and
come here to visit. And even you meet harsh people on the way, leave it the way it
is and enjoy the reality of real life ;)
2003-03-30
Things didn't work the way we thought they would :-) and few days after the last news
appeared on this page, we moved to Warsaw (capital city of Poland) where we live at
the moment. In a spare time, we try to travel. Unfortunately, because of heavy working
during last few months, it wasn't an easy task. Happily, I (Adam) was lucky to visit
Ireland and a little bit later, during Christmas, we visited Prague (Czech) together.
We plan to visit some other places in 2003, but again, it's too early to talk about
it now...
Ka Kee has finished making her own home page entitled Domek Malutkiej.
All of you are welcomed!
2002-11-01
We had lived for sixth months in Hong Kong, but due to the economic situation getting
worse in this region we decided to move to Poland. It is a risky decision because of
xenophobic character of Poles, bad weather (Winter) and Big Unknown about our future
here. I (Adam) flew back to Poland in March 2002 and Ka Kee joined me soon after in
June 2002. Next separation let us rest from each other for a while :-P, but after we
met again it is even better than before (and, in fact, it was already great).
Currently we are living in Gdansk (Poland), soon we will rent a flat and step by
step we are becoming more and more stable. However, our plans assume a Big Uncertainty.
We won't write about it now to avoid bad luck =).
2001-12-01
Ka Kee had visited me in Poland in January 2001 and later we
have decided to get married. It happened a little bit later in April (in Hong Kong).
I had to come back to Poland and after 6 looooong months, we finally could
live together.
